St John Trip - July 2007


We went to St John on the 7th July (Sat) till 8th July (Sun). Because of the trip, i missed Huixian's Birthday Celebration at Sentosa on Sunday. So Sorry HUIXIAN!! I really enjoyed my stay in St John with my colleagues. Me,Elaine,Priscilla,Darren,Joseph,Angeline and her BF,Florian,Kian Boon and Kit were there.

Before actual day, i actually went to St John twice. First is to bring Jana (German Intern) and the other was to put partial of the necessities in our bungalow. Before that, me,pris and darren went to buy the food. We were cracking our heads and most of the necessities and dry products come from Darren's Shop.

At that day, we met at Marina South Port for the ferry at 9.45am. It was RAINING!!! OMG. Joseph, our Hong Kong customer who was here for 3 months exchange program, was making jokes. Seriously, he shows xteme difference in work and play. Darren brought his mum's curry chicken, we were like hungry ghosts all grabbing for the chicken curry and bread. It was nice, the chicken meat is very smooth. We went to Kusu Island and played some games, the rain has stopped but the sky is still gloomy. We also catch alot of LALA for our night BBQ.

After that, we catch the ferry 3.15pm back to St John, we went to play sea games, it was sunny then, the gloomy sky is gone. Played captain's ball, Joseph was very fierce, he really am very serious about winning. We had lotsa fun. Then Elaine, Kian Boon and me went to the sea to get "soaked". The others went back. We chatted without realising the time. It was 6 plus, we need to go back before it gets dark.

Time for BBQ!! Lotsa of Sausages and Chickens, marinated by Pris's husband. It was good!! Darren cooked the LALAs, wow, it tastes so well!!! Never knew he was such a good cook. Soon, BBQ is over, we crowded and chat. After a while we went in the bungalow to play games, we played bluff, heart attack. Elaine got her hand hurt with all the hard slammming of the hands. Soon it was late, i slept around 2am. Because of the ghost stories heard, i took my tailsman and slept with the lights on.

Next Morning, Darren cooked breakfast for all of us. Maggi Mee with Abalone and lots of other ingredients. It was great!! Took 2 bowls!! After that we went to nearby for picture taking. Darren ask me to take pictures with his camera, but it ended up that he forgot to put in the memory card and ended up we only took around 10 to 11 picturs. Regretted that i didnt bring my camera along with me that time. Then it was time to go home. We took the ferry back home, everyone was tired. Again, we took lotsa photos. Reached Marina Port, we took a cad and headed to HOME SWEET HOME.
